Not all roses are red. The opening evokes the trade routes of the Orient — rare spices brought from port to port, spices that changed destinies and fortunes. Cypress leaf and artemisia open the space with a brisk, ancient freshness, while saffron and cardamom immediately add that bazaar warmth, of camel leather and spices weighed in the palms.
