Perfume extract is to perfumery what a jewel is to a jeweler.
This is the noblest of concentrations. Carefully selected, the raw materials that compose it are expressed in rare essences and absolutes.

Both intimate and enveloping, this concentrated perfume traditionally represents the deepest dimension of the olfactory pyramid.
It is applied directly to the skin, gently spraying the pulse points of the neck, the inside of the wrists and the hollow of the décolleté.
Wait 10-15 seconds for the alcohol to evaporate and avoid rubbing the wrists, as rubbing the perfume removes the top notes.

Ume fragrance description

In Japan, ume blooms before the snow has completely melted. It does not wait for spring. It does not ask the season for permission. It simply blooms — because this is its moment. Ume is the perfume of this quiet courage.

The opening is unexpectedly warm for a floral. Cinnamon and saffron — two of the world’s oldest spices — create a rich, almost ceremonial introduction, like incense smoke in an ancient temple. Not a fruity beginning, but a ritual one.

The heart is a Japanese garden in full bloom, somewhere between reality and dream. Japanese plum and plum blossom bring delicate tartness and floral sweetness at the same time — a fruity-floral accord unlike any Western flower. Immortelle — with its unique aroma of honey, straw and sweet curry — adds a hypnotic warmth. The liqueur brings a fermented, slightly intoxicating note that disturbs the floral bouquet in a fascinating way. Cypress brings cool, green mountain air, while camellia — floral, delicate, almost scentless in nature, yet olfactively present as a velvety texture — rounds the heart with elegance.

The base descends deep and lingers. Oud — pure agarwood, woody and slightly animalic, the most precious ingredient in perfumery — unfolds slowly alongside amber and resinous benzoin. Fir adds a dry, Nordic coolness, surprising and perfectly contrasting with the warm oriental character of the other notes. Vanilla arrives at the end as a sweet and inevitable resolution, taming the oud without taking away its strength.

Ume is the perfume of contrasts that love each other — sunrise and sunset, ice and fire, flowers that dare to appear before winter has finished what it had to say.
