Both intimate and enveloping, this concentrated perfume traditionally represents the deepest dimension of the olfactory pyramid.
It is applied directly to the skin, lightly spraying the pulse points of the neck, the inside of the wrists and the hollow of the décolleté.
Wait 10-15 seconds for the alcohol to evaporate and avoid rubbing the wrists, as rubbing the perfume eliminates the top notes.
Ume Fragrance Description
In Japan, ume blossoms before the snow has completely melted. It does not wait for spring. It does not ask the season for permission. It simply blooms — because this is its moment. Ume is the perfume of this discreet courage.
The opening is unexpectedly warm for a floral. Cinnamon and saffron — two of the world’s oldest spices — create a rich, almost ceremonial introduction, like incense smoke in an ancient temple. Not a fruity beginning, but a ritual one.
The heart is a Japanese garden in full bloom, somewhere between reality and dream. Japanese plum and plum blossom bring delicate tartness and floral sweetness at the same time — a fruity-floral accord unlike any flower in the West. Immortelle — with its unique aroma of honey, straw and sweet curry — adds a hypnotic warmth. Liqueur brings a fermented, slightly intoxicating note that unsettles the floral composition in a fascinating way. Cypress adds cool, green mountain air, while camellia — floral, delicate, almost scentless in nature, yet olfactively present as a velvety texture — rounds out the heart with elegance.
The base descends deeply and lingers. Oud — pure agarwood, woody and slightly animalic, the most precious ingredient in perfumery — unfolds slowly alongside amber and resinous benzoin. Fir adds a dry, Nordic coolness, surprising and perfect in contrast with the warm Orient of the other notes. Vanilla arrives at the end as a sweet and inevitable resolution, taming the oud without taking away its strength.
