The opening is iris in its purest form — Iris Pallida, the noble variety cultivated in the fields of Tuscany, from which, through years of patience, one of the most precious ingredients in perfumery is extracted. Powdery, cool, slightly earthy and floral at the same time, with a complexity no other flower possesses. Almond joins discreetly, adding a soft, creamy sweetness that makes the iris more approachable without taking anything away from its aristocratic nature.
